Review of Pandan Sponge Cake with salted caramel frosting at Soul Alife by nadoose

It's not a sponge cake, it's a wet doughy mixture shaped like a cake. Well, it is technically a sponge cake, but it's just really really moist. Forget the 'melt in your mouth' experience because this cake will do that without asking. I'm not sure if it's just a really long time since I've had cake, or if this is just the cake standard everywhere.

The frosting was good, the coconut shavings was good, this does taste like pandan. I'm kinda reminded of ondeh ondeh.

Harsh criticism aside, I honestly do enjoy coming to this cafe because it has a good ambience, the staff are nice, and I love trying out the new dishes they have. Some of it may be a hit or a miss but I still definitely want to keep supporting them.
