Got these pork pies to compare to the Tesco Plant Chef ones I had a few weeks ago, and for me Tesco won!
Though these are decent the texture is just a bit too soft, so not very pork-like. With a bit of Branston pickle they made a nice addition to lunch though so I might get them again.
They were 2 pork pies for £1.50 in Morrisons.
These were so tasty , i could even tast that jelly which was in original pork pies, they didn’t take like plant they were very meaty . Would definately buy again 💚
These pork pies were probably the least dry of all the ones I’ve tried but the flavour just wasnt there for me. All the flavour came from the pastry and the filling was just a little bit bland
They were pretty enjoyable, not sure why they felt the need to put the gross jelly stuff in there it seems unnecessary but I still liked them & would probably eat them again
A bit stodgy but great to have the option there. Filling is decent
