Shiitake Mushroom Crisps - Smoked Chilli & Garlic

This is a spin on their already amazing #mushroomcrisps. The #chilli and #garlic dusting complemented the natural flavour of the #shiitake and made this a delightful snack for mid-afternoon 😋 It's fried in low oil and eschews most of the additives that you get with supermarket brands, so as #crisps go they don't get much better than this 😀 Especially if you love #mushroom 🥰 #veganuary

Wanted to love these because doesn't it sound amazing?! Shitake mushroom crisps flavoured with smoked chilli and garlic?! Omg sign me up! Sadly, the mushroom crisps don't lend themselves very well to flavour - they taste tough and starchy, and the effort of gnawing through them doesn't yield enough chilli or garlic as a reward. I've had better (and better-seasoned) shitake mushroom crisps elsewhere. #veganuary

I love this brand, they make the best snacky goodies. I’d give it 5/5 for nutrition except it’s got all that delicious added salty goodness and I know it’s not good for me…but DAYUM it’s tasty and LISHUSS!!!
