Third dish in this incredible food journey at We Cafe shared with @ell269 @capetownvegan @capetownmatt and 25 others (full house). The fire in our hearts has no limits at all. To follow is thyme polenta with oyster mushroom steak and eggplant demi-glaze sauce. The mushrooms were so meaty and chewy in a good way with the sauce helping the polenta to slide down. So so good.

I was too full to do this dish justice, and I was determined to save space for dessert, but the spicy oyster mushrooms in a creamy brinjal sauce is simply swoonworthy.
