Veggie Burger

Delicious!

GrubHub was offering a $5 promo off a $15 order. I had never ordered from Smart Bowls before and this seemed like a good opportunity.

I ordered the veggie burger with a side of seasoned fries. The “burger” is actually healthy-sized falafels cut in half between a brioche bun, arugula, tomatoes, onions and a tahini-based dressing. I removed the brioche bun to make it a vegan option.

The dish was super flavorful and a great treat at the office on a rainy day. My colleagues were commenting on how the aroma was making them hungry!

Smart Bowls has a menu fit for omnivores, and not exclusively a vegan establishment; but had a good number of vegan options I look forward to trying.

I like supporting these restaurants whenever possible so they build their vegan offerings, and know there will be individuals who REALLY want those options!
