This original and interesting dish was presented well and tasted great! So hard to describe.
A stack of thick slices of smokey roasted eggplant, courgette and sweet potato, drenched in a coconut milk curry sauce with chickpeas. Flavours have a "Durban curry" vibe, which was unexpected and worked perfectly . Topped with soft, sweet, roasted red peppers.
The curry wasn't hot but had a good zing. Definitely not "beige" in spiciness.
Huge portion. I'm a "Hoover" and had to concede defeat - couldn't finish it.
I didn't know what to expect but I have never seen anything similar on a menu before and I love the creativity and uniqueness of both the concept and taste. The dish has such a clear character of its own and wasn't derivative.
Experience something new. Order this dish.
Service spot on. My first time at the restaurant and it deserves all it's accolades.
