We’re super proud to announce this massive news for our community: We have launched the Italian version of our app!
In the last few months, we have seen the number of members from Italy balloon into a wonderful community and thought it’s about time to cater to this growing diversity. For one, it’s an indicator that the vegan movement is growing quickly in Italy. After giving the world cherished dishes like pizza and pasta, the country is now leading the way on the vegan front.
In fact, our Italian community has chalked up over half a million reviews of vegan food and products since we launched in 2018. That means close to €600,000 worth of donations have gone on to benefit our non-profit partners as well as two of the largest beneficiaries in Italy: Rifugio Miletta and Santuario Capra Libera Tutti.
It has taken months to push this out and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our members for being part of us, and growing with us. Know also that this is but a small step we’re taking towards building a truly global community to make going vegan easier in any way we can.
In the near future, we aim to further localize our content for other countries, and roll out even more features like marketplace in more locations.
